11 Weeks Old

I am 11 weeks old now. Nowadays, I like to suck on the back of my hands, sometimes my fingers too. I also like to make bubbles with my mouth (using my drools :P).
Oh, I also make more and more sounds. I used to make 2 syllables type of sounds, now I can make 3! I like it when people talk or chat with me. I will observe their faces and mouth, and most of the time, I will respond back :-D

I can now recognize familiar faces. I will smile when I see Mom or Dad. I also sleep longer during the night. I can go on sleeping without night feedings now. Mom is sooooo happy with my progress on this.

Sleep Achievement

This is me, before going to church with Mom and Dad.
Last night, I slept for the whole 8 hours! Mom and Dad were exclaiming in their hearts: "Yippppeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!" :-D

10 Weeks Old

Hello, I am now 10 weeks old :-)
Mom said that I now sleep alot during the day. I would take close to 4 naps from morning 'til evening. Each nap will last for about 2-3 hours! I would be put on my tummy everytime Mom sees that I am sleepy and ready for my nap. However, at night, I'd sleep on my back, coz Mom said it is safer that way.

I can also now lift up my head more than 45 degrees when I am put on my tummy. Mom said that I like facing the right hand side when napping on my tummy. So sometimes she'd turn my head to the left when I am fast asleep. But somehow, after she left, I'd manage to turn my head to face the right hand side again :-P

Swaddled No More

Mom said I am a big boy now, so I don't need to be swaddled everytime I go to sleep at night.

1st Dose of 6-in-1 Vaccination

Today I had my first dose of 6-in-1 vaccination. Mom brought me to a clinic nearby and we signed up for a package that would give me all the necessary immunization 'til I am 18 months old.
Oh, my weight and height was also measured. I am now 5.8kg and 65cm.
When the doctor gave me the jab, I only cried a little tiny bit. Mom said she is so proud of me :-) The next dose is due on end of Feb/early March time frame.

Today I also met my 2 other 'comrades': Vai and Noah. Noah is 2.5 months older than me. Yes, I know, I am now much smaller compared to both of them. They both have more hair too ;-)

9 Weeks Old

I am 9 weeks old now. Mom said that I have been very talkative these days. When people talk to me, I'd respond with "Oohh", "Aahh", "Hee", "Aahh Coo", "Eehh", "Haiizzz", and many more :-)
At night when Mom or Dad read the Bible story to me, I would also make these noises. He he he as if I'd also like to respond to the story.

Hmm, I never knew that sleeping on my tummy can be soooooo good!

2 Months Old

Hey, I am 2 months old now. This is me with my Dad after the evening service at church. Many people said that we are look alike. But there are a few who said that I got my Mom's eyes :-)
Mom has been very happy with the progress of my sleeping habit. After each breastfeeding session, Mom would put me on my cot, and most of the time I would be able to doze off by myself! I take 2-3 naps every afternoon now, each will last about 30 mins - 2 hours. At night, after my last meal, I would also be able to sleep by myself when I am put on my bed. I would then sleep for 5-6 hours stretch.
My 1st dose of 6-in-1 vaccination is due on 27th January. Mom can't wait, cause by then she would also be able to find out my latest height and weight. I am definitely growing fast, as I have outgrown some of my clothes.

A note for Auntie Aiyin: Sorry for the 'wee' accident today :-P It was not intentional. Mom also said that I am 'dangerous' without my nappy on :-D

Circumcision

This morning, Mom and Dad brought me to a clinic for my circumcision appointment. We reached there at 10AM, and everything was performed at about 11AM. Mom and Dad were also there in the doctor's room to witness the procedure. The doctor was very nice and he performed everything in just minutes!
First, the doctor gave me local anesthetic injection. Then, he did the incision. Doctor said that my wound should be healed in about 1 week time. During that 1 week, he said that Mom can continue bathing me and putting nappies as usual, as if no circumcision has been performed. He said that the more often the area is wetted, the quicker it will heal and the circumcision ring will drop off faster. The only extra thing to do is that the area has to be washed with antiseptic solution each time my nappy is changed. Oh, I was also given Panadol to ease the pain and prevent myself from fever.
Mom and Dad said that I am such a brave and big boy now :-)

8 Weeks Old

Nowadays, I smile and talk a-l-o-t! Usually in the morning after breakfast.
I can also now turn sideways. Still struggling with the head-lifting though when Mom puts me on my tummy, but I am getting the hang of it.
Oh, and now my S-size diapers can almost no longer fit me. I am getting bigger indeed!

One of My Day Activities

One of my activities during the day is to stare out of the window on my baby cot :-P
Usually just before my morning bath time, Mom would put me in my cot next to the window. I like to stare out of the window where the sunlight comes in. I can also hear the noises from the people below, MRT train and the chirping birds. When I get bored, Mom would also turn on the musical mobile hanging next to my cot :-) This would usually stay for about 5-10 minutes. Afterwards, I would make all the noises I can to get Mom's attention so that she'd carry me :-D

7 Weeks Old

I am 7 weeks old now. My newborn clothes are getting too tight for me. Mom has to take out more new clothes for me to wear :-D
I can now smile alot when people talk to me. Especially when they play with me, clap my hands, touch my cheeks. I also sleep much longer during night time (about 5-6 hours) and less fussy during day time. Mom said if I behave during day time, she will take me out more :-)

Today I saw Aunt Sisi off at the airport. She went back to Jakarta after visiting me for 1+ week during the holiday. Aunt Sisi, see you again soon . Come and visit me again in Singapore, OK? :-)
