45 Weeks Old

I am 45 weeks old today. For some reason, my appetite has improved, and I can now eat more. Mom is ecstatic!

I am also very chatty now. I love to babble a lot, usually in repeated words of: Pa, Ba, Wa and Cai *he he he*

I clap my hands a lot too. I also dance to certain music while standing and holding on to the side of my cot. I'd move my body up and down, sometimes with one hand in the air too.

I also love to laugh more often now. I easily laugh when other people are laughing :-P Mom is probably the expert in making me laugh. She just do very simple things, and I'd laugh my head off.

Mom catched me standing on my own on her bed once, for probably 1 second. But for now, I'd rather sit on my bottom and crawl :-P

Swimming At Ardmore Park

Ii Lilies invited Mom and I to go swimming at Ardmore Park today. There I also met with Lindsey and Caden, and we all swam together.

I really enjoyed my swimming this time :-) I am not scared anymore when Mom dipped my whole body into the pool. I also luuurrrvvv to splash on the water for very long until my lips turned blue and they trembled he he he.

44 Weeks Old

I am 44 weeks old now. Mom said that mealtimes with me have been more challenging than ever. I'd eat very very little, less than half of my usual portion. Mom is unhappy and sad at the same time. She hopes that it is just a phase that I am going through, and it will soon pass.
As for other updates, I like to clap my hands a lot now. But when people instruct me to clap, I'd not usually do it right away.
And oh, I fell down from bed quite bad a few days ago while trying to climb down from it. Ever since then, I am scared to do so. I'd find a safer way (like something to hold on to) to try to climb down. But Mom and Dad keep reassuring me that I can do it without any props. So they keep training me how to go down from bed safely. After a couple of days, my confidence started to return and I can now do it. I can also do it faster than before.
My crawling speed has also become faster and faster. When I am approaching the 'forbidden' spots, Mom would say "No No No" to me. Well, most of the time, I disobey her and still pursue it. When this happens, Mom would usually grab me, then point to the spot and tell me that this is forbidden and it is unsafe. She'd then place me elsewhere and give me some other activity to do.

Yes, I have become a very active, determined and super-curious boy.

10 Months Old

Another blessed month for me, and for Mom and Dad. I am 10 months old today.

Mom said that I am shy and quiet on the outside, but inside I am a cheeky and talkative little boy. I like people's company and don't like to be alone for too long. At home, I can be very clingy to Mom. But when I am outside, I can pretty much entertain myself.

I am also a very cautious little boy, Mom said. If I am aware of the danger, I'd usually not take the risk. For instance, if I have fallen from a particular spot, I'd usually try not to repeat the same action that causes me that fall.

Mom also thinks that I am a sensitive boy. I'd emphatize when Mom is not happy with me because of something.

My favorite activity is to play with Mom, cause she can me laugh very hard :-D I hope she is less busy so she can play with me more often.

Mom and Dad say that I am their pride and joy. They feel so blessed to have me. There is not a day when they do not thank God for me.

In the picture, it's me and Mom at Raffles City. Dad, Mom and I went to this nice restaurant at the basement of the mall to celebrate my 10th month :-D Mom and Dad got to enjoy a nice meal, and I got to enjoy a nice view - the waterfalls!

Pasta A La Nate

Since I have not been eating well these few days, Mom tried to prepare me something new: Pasta!

43 Weeks Old

At 43 Weeks, I get additional 2 teeth! Yes, my two upper central incisors have appeared at the same time. So in total, I have 5 teeth now. Hmm, that probably explains my poor appetite these past few days.

Mom said, mealtime has been more challenging with me. On several occasions, I would refuse to sit on my booster chair. I'd also protest when Mom puts the bib on me. I usually pull the bib off my neck. Then during feeding time, I'd only eat the first 3-4 spoonful. After which, I'd look away, clench my lips or look down. But offer me my snacks, I'd open my mouth widely again and again. Mom really hopes that I'd start eating well again soon.

I still drink my formula quite well. Usually in the morning, Mom would breastfeed me. Then, in the evening and just before my bedtime, Mom would give me formula (usually at about 180-200ml). Most of the time, I'd be able to finish it. I also hold the bottle by myself most of the time. If the content is more than 200ml, the bottle would be too heavy for me to hold. So Dad taught me this new trick! (see the pic).

The Gate

Mom and Dad bought this safety gate to fix at the kitchen entry. It is to prevent me from entering the kitchen. That's because I love going into the kitchen so much, playing with the drawers, picking up the bits and pieces from the floor and put them into my mouth, and especially going to the washing area where the bleaches and detergents are located :-P

Mom has tried verbal warning on me, but it didn't work. Thus, the gate is there. Can you see the can-i-enter-please look on my face?

Others' Food

It's weird how someone else's food always look more appealing than ours :-P

42 Weeks Old and Some More Achievements

At 42 weeks old, I am able to go down successfully from Mom & Dad's bed. With no help, and no accidents either he he he.

And yesterday, my third tooth emerged. It is my upper, left side lateral incisor tooth.
